Mark A. Ferguson
Commercial Risk Management Specialist
Mark and his lovely wife Mindy have raised three, now adult, children in the Tawas area. Mark’s passion for his community is evident through his volunteer work in many community organizations including the Tawas Lions, Huron Hockey & Skating Association, Tawas Planning Commission, Northern Michigan Children’s Assessment Center Board of Directors, Baldwin Township Planning Commission, and Iosco County Crime Stoppers.
Mark comes to TCA Insurance with a broad range of work experience in construction, manufacturing, and sales. Mark was employed by the Tawas Police Authority in 1999. Patrolling the streets of Tawas City and East Tawas gave Mark an opportunity to interact with people from all walks of life and in all types of situations. Managing risks from crisis to mundane allowed him to relate to people. Mark became the Chief of Police at the Tawas Police Authority in 2009, a position he held for over ten years. Eventually, after twenty years in law enforcement and looking for a chance to have a second career and continued variety in life, Mark investigated opportunities in the insurance industry. Mark has managed some of the most serious risks society faces. With that experience on his belt and intimate knowledge of so many industries, we at TCA Insurance feel he has the background to be the ultimate Risk Management Specialist.
Lindsey Martin, PLCS
Personal Lines Account Executive
Lindsey joined the Personal Insurance Division of TCA Insurance, Inc. in January of 2019 after investing a decade in the banking industry as a mortgage underwriter. Lindsey’s strength is in taking care of clients; she prides herself on providing a world-class customer experience. Lindsey works primarily in our Tawas office and looks forward to a lifelong career at TCA Insurance.
Lindsey was born in Tawas and graduated from Saginaw Valley State University. She and her husband have two beautiful children. In her spare time, Lindsey enjoys running along beautiful Tawas Bay, taking her kids to the local parks, and remodeling her home with her husband.
Kyle Stonehouse, PLCS
Personal Lines Agent
Kyle joined the Personal Insurance Division of TCA Insurance, Inc. in January of 2018 after investing a decade in retail auto sales. Kyle’s strength is in his knowledge of protecting personal assets. Kyle works primarily in our Grayling office and is heavily involved in various community organizations in Crawford County. He is an active board member of the Grayling Youth Booster Club, the Crawford County Community Foundation, and the Michigan Canoe Racing Association (MCRA).
Kyle is a competitor in many regards. He strives to earn the trust of our clients through hard-work and thoughtful consideration. He is also an avid paddler that has completed the AuSable River Canoe Marathon five times.
Manager of First Response
Nicole joins the TCA Insurance as a former 2005 Tawas area graduate. She has recently worked with Northeastern Michigan Community Service Agency; a nonprofit organization that services 11 counties throughout Northern Michigan. Her experience and strengths are rooted in providing quality care and developing strong lines of communication with our community.
She enjoys spending time with her three sons in her down time, switching between baseball, soccer and hockey. Her hobbies include photography and traveling.
Life and Health Product Specialist
Craig Harrison has been in the health, life and annuity industry since graduating from Central Michigan University in 1987. He is licensed with multiple different companies as an independent agent. He currently resides in the Auburn area with is wife, Carol, and two children, Brendan and Morgan. In his spare time, he enjoys hunting, fishing, playing softball, gardening and camping.
